Join us for "The Golden Stool: Heirs to the Kingdom,"  a saga of love, heritage, and destiny, inspired by true events, where ancient secrets collide with modern betrayals and love prevails. Erika Golden is a curator at The Griot Museum of Black History in St. Louis. While conducting research for an upcoming exhibit she discovers her royal Ashanti legacy hidden in artifacts. She travels to Ghana to conduct further research and secure the Golden Stool and other artifacts for her exhibit. Erika arrives in Ghana and is greeted by Justin-her profoundly handsome, intelligent and deeply spiritual Ghanian tour guide. However, he has a secret--he is heir to the Ashanti throne but doesn't realize he is entangled in danger from surprising sources. From Accra's markets, museums and festivals to Kamasi and Cape Coast's shores, Erika and Justin try to resist, but a love that defies every boundary burst through their efforts. As they explore Accra, Erika and Justin discover that the Golden Stool, a sacred treasure of the Ashanti people binds them-but its power comes with a price. Light refreshments will be provided.
