Join us for an afternoon of music, history and culture! Chinenye Okoro will be discussing the history of the Banjo and connections between west African and African American musical traditions. Mira Dee will be playing the Banjo and teaching us how to build our own Banjo. Come learn more about the history of the Banjo and how to build your own. Materials will be supplied. Admission is $10 and includes museum tour.
